Fully insured DHL, FedEx and Malca-Amit armored transit at 100% of declared value, with complete HS-code customs documentation and discreet, brand-neutral packaging.

Every parcel leaves fully insuredAll TELULA shipments are insured at 100% of declared invoice value under an all-risk policy, and travel only with signature-required, traceable carriers. High-value consignments move by armored courier.

This policy applies to all trade orders dispatched from our Yancheng atelier. Freight is quoted per shipment and shown separately on the commercial invoice unless a DDP price has been agreed.

1. Carriers & Service Levels

We select the carrier according to value, destination and urgency. You may nominate a carrier on the purchase order; where the nominated carrier does not offer all-risk cover at full value, we will advise before dispatch.

Carrier Service Typical consignment
DHL Express Worldwide priority, signature required Samples, single pieces up to USD 15,000
FedEx Priority International priority, signature required Production runs, multi-piece orders
Malca-Amit Armored / secured logistics, door-to-door High-value consignments, loose certified stones
Brink’s Secured logistics (on request) Trade-show and exhibition transfers

Carrier tracking numbers are issued to your nominated contact at the moment of collection, together with the commercial invoice and packing list as PDFs.

2. Full-Value Insurance

  • 100% of declared invoice value insured on every shipment, all-risk, door-to-door.
  • A certificate of insurance is issued per consignment and available on request before collection.
  • Loose certified stones are declared individually by certificate number.
  • Insurance premium is either included in the freight charge or quoted at cost, typically 0.35%–0.6% of declared value depending on destination and carrier.
  • Where the Client arranges its own freight on an EXW or FOB basis, insurance becomes the Client’s responsibility from the point of collection; we document handover with signed carrier receipts and photographs.

3. Packaging & Discretion

All orders ship in tamper-evident, discreet outer cartons with no brand markings, no value declaration on the exterior and no jewellery terminology on the airway bill. Inner packaging follows your private-label specification — boxes, pouches, certificates, care cards and thank-you notes carry your brand only.

Blind dropshipping is supported: we ship neutral, show your company as shipper where permitted, and omit any TELULA invoice, marketing insert or pricing document from the parcel.

4. HS Codes & Customs Documentation

Our export desk prepares a complete documentation pack for every consignment so that customs clearance is not delayed at destination.

Goods HS Code Notes
Gold / platinum jewellery 7113.19 Precious metal jewellery, other than silver
Silver jewellery 7113.11 Silver, whether or not plated
Diamonds (non-industrial) 7102.39 Kimberley Process certificate where applicable
Coloured gemstones 7103.99 Sapphire, ruby, emerald — worked but not set
Jewellery parts / findings 7113.20 Parts of precious metal jewellery
Presentation boxes 4819.20 Where invoiced separately

Documents provided: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin (Form A / FTA where applicable), insurance certificate, assay or gemmological reports, and the airway bill. We can also issue an EUR.1 or China–ASEAN origin declaration on request.

5. Duties, Taxes & Incoterms

  • EXW Yancheng — collection at our atelier; export clearance and freight at Client cost.
  • FOB Shanghai / Ningbo — we handle export clearance and delivery to the vessel or aircraft.
  • CIF — freight and insurance to the destination port included.
  • DDP — a fully landed price including destination duty and clearance, quoted on request.

Under EXW, FOB and CIF terms, import duty, VAT / GST and destination clearance charges are the Client’s responsibility. We declare accurate values on all documentation and cannot under-declare for customs purposes.

6. Transit Times

Destination Express (DHL / FedEx) Armored
United States & Canada 3–5 business days 5–7 business days
United Kingdom & EU 3–5 business days 5–7 business days
Middle East (UAE, KSA, Qatar) 3–4 business days 4–6 business days
Australia & New Zealand 4–6 business days 6–8 business days
Japan, Korea, Singapore, HK 2–4 business days 3–5 business days

Transit times run from collection, not from order confirmation. Customs inspection at destination can add 1–3 business days and is outside our control. Production lead times are stated separately in our Wholesale Terms.

7. Tracking, Signature & Delivery

Every shipment requires a signature on delivery; carriers will not leave parcels unattended. Tracking is shared with your nominated contact and, for dropship orders, can be pushed directly to your customer. Please ensure the receiving address is staffed during business hours — redelivery or address-correction fees charged by the carrier are passed on at cost.

8. Loss or Damage Claims

  1. Inspect the outer carton on arrival and note any damage on the carrier’s delivery record before signing.
  2. Photograph the carton and contents and notify us within 24 hours of delivery for visible damage, or 7 days for concealed shortage.
  3. We file the insurance claim on your behalf and keep you informed at each stage.
  4. Approved claims are settled by priority replacement — we re-cast and re-ship while the insurer processes the claim — or by full credit where replacement is not possible.
  5. Retain all packaging until the claim is closed; the insurer may request it for inspection.

9. Restricted Destinations & Compliance

We ship worldwide except to jurisdictions subject to UN, EU, UK, US or PRC sanctions or export controls, and we screen every counterparty against applicable restricted-party lists. Precious metals and diamonds additionally require Kimberley Process compliance for rough goods and origin documentation for worked stones. Where a destination requires an import licence, the Client is responsible for obtaining it; we will supply the supporting documentation.
